The concept of the "Terra Nera" plate set is inspired by the orography of the area at the slopes of Mount Etna, which has changed over time due to eruptions and lava flows, alternating between wooded and green areas and breathtaking black earth landscapes left by the lava.
The simple and elegant shapes of this line blend with local tradition, evoking the ancient plates used in Sicily made from Volcano Stone and Terracotta.
