The Story
The regeneration of yarns according to Dalfilo
Wool and Cashmere are natural yarns with incredible properties; They guarantee thermal insulation, warmth, softness to the touch and, above all, eternal durability. Our plaids are made of regenerated fiber, obtained through a careful process of reworking recycled fabrics, to which we add a part of virgin fiber. The result is a highly soft, enveloping and resistant yarn but with a low environmental impact... A cuddle for us and for our planet.
From the Bottega with love
To weave a strong and long-lasting weave, you need expert and passionate hands, such as those of our artisans, whom we have carefully selected from a long Italian tailoring experience in order to guarantee you all the properties of the best yarns at an affordable price.
The Sustainability of Regenerated Wool Throws
Upcycled wool is the beating heart of many modern and sustainable throws. This material is obtained by recycling pre-consumer or post-consumer wool fibers, giving them a second life through a careful and environmentally friendly process. Regenerated wool plaids not only reduce waste, but also limit the need to produce new virgin wool, thus reducing emissions and the use of natural resources.
Why Choose Regenerated Wool?
-
Waste reduction: By recovering old garments or textile waste, materials that would otherwise be sent to landfills are given new life.
-
Respect for animals: By avoiding the production of new virgin wool, the pressure on the traditional wool industry is reduced.
-
Unchanged quality and comfort: Upcycled wool plaids maintain the same insulating and warm properties as traditional throws.
A recycled wool plaid is not only sustainable, but also becomes a symbol of awareness and attention to the future.
The Elegance of Regenerated Wool and Cashmere
When you think of luxury in fabrics, cashmere is undoubtedly among the first options that come to mind. This material is renowned for its unique softness and the comfortable feel it provides. The regenerated wool and cashmere plaids combine the sophistication of these fine fibers with sustainability. Through innovative processes, cashmere fabrics are regenerated and transformed into new plaids with an elegant appearance and welcoming textures.
